On March 27th, my Solarflow 2400 AC suddenly shut down while discharging. The battery was still at 66%, then the State of Charge instantly dropped to 0%, and charging from the grid stopped working completely.
When I checked the system, I noticed a slight burning smell. After disconnecting everything, I found that the connectors between the inverter and the battery had partially melted — they were even fused together and difficult to separate.
What’s worrying is that a family member experienced the exact same issue with an identical setup, which we both ordered on the same day. Their case is already posted here on the Zendure forum: https://forum.zendure.com/d/22250.
I’m sharing this here to see if others have encountered the same problem and to help others spot the issue in case their system shows similar overheating or melting connectors.
I’ve already reported this issue to Zendure support and I’m currently waiting for their response.
I’ve added a few photos below showing the condition of the connectors and the visible damage for reference.
