I have a Zendure Superbase V4600 since March 2023. I use it as UPS. So it's connected to AC input (230 V) and I have connected an IT lab to the AC output. This worked fine until yesterday.
Yesterday in the evening, there was a loud bang. Then my complete IT environment gone offline. Now I found out that the fuse might be broken. I can't say exactly because I don't have a replacement of this older fuse which isn't a switch for powering on the power circuit. But there's no power in the complete room where the SBV and my IT lab is placed.
Then I checked the SBV. First I unplugged all cables. Then I plugged my IT lab back to a working power circuit without UPS safety. The SBV was in standby, the AC output was off and the display showed 89 % battery charge - I set a charging limit to 90 % - and the error codes 003 and 049. I wasn't able to power on the AC output.
I know that since yesterday there's a DC firmware update to release 1.1.7 available. So I tried to install the update. The app stucks at 90 %. I saw the update icon on the display of the SBV but the progress stucks at 0 on the display. And then the app says that the update wasn't successful.
I know this issue from the community and so I shut down the SBV by pressing the power button for a long time. After powering on the SBV again I still see the error code 003 but not 049. Then the app showed 2 new firmware updates. The DC firmware as said before and the BMS firmware because the installed firmware is shown as V0. I tried to update the 2 firmwares once again without success. I didn't try to power on the AC output of the SBV.
For the moment I don't have the possibility to check the SBV on another power circuit because I first have to buy the replacement fuse. So I can't say if the device is broken. And I don't know the meaning of the error code 003 which is now always displayed - even after shutdowns and restarts of the SBV. And the issue with the firmware updates shows me that the device isn't in a good condition any more. I never had issues with firmware upgrades before. But I have to say that about 24 hours after the last successful firmware updates in June there was also an outage of the AC output so my IT environment went offline, too. But in this case there was no outage of the power circuit like this happened yesterday. And the outage of the AC output didn't repeated until yesterday.
How can this issue be fixed? What is the meaning of the error code s003 and 049? How can I get the firmware updated in this situation?
