Hi guys, is anybody aware a way of connecting the SBV and Satellite battery to my main Solar array? I currently have a 8kwh string inverter (not hybrid) I was hoping to use the battery directly from AC wall sockets rather then using Extension cables. Is this possible?

With an SBV, the only option is to keep the solar inverters on the grid side and connect the SBV AC input to the grid as well. Then power your loads through the output of the SBV (consider the maximum output power/amperage of that output though!). I believe this is also what the home panel (when it finally becomes available) will do, just wiring the SBV's output back into your fixed mains wiring. Set up an AC charging schedule to recharge the SBV during daytime, hopefully mostly from solar.

for basic stuff, use power plab scheduling to charge from AC only durig the day from the same AC circuit as your inverter. For advance with monitoring and charging only when there is enough solar output, then you will need additional devices and software to automate this, which is not that trivial to implement without a bit of curiosity and tinkering.

Thanks for the kind replies but I am still confused. I am aware I can charge the SBV using the AC socket. I want to use the AC sockets in the house but draw the power from the SBV. Is is this possible?

Only by rewiring your house to basically plug it into the output of your SBV, or by using the home panel (once ir becomes available), which IIUC will do the same thing (but there is not much information on it).

Thanks for the reply.. Home panel is no longer listed on Zendure website. Are your sure this definitely connects to main home power circuit. I can't find any specs or documentation.
