SBV Anderson charging B4600

Hi All,
I was searching for a way to use the SBV4600 via Anderson connector to charge an extension Battery B4600. This is needed because the PV Hub Mini is using the battery connection cable. The PV system with 1.9 kWp is connected to the SBV as well as AC charging via dynamic pricing automation.

I am using a DC/DC step up converter transforming the 12,6V of the Anderson port of the SBV to around 48V to feed the XT90 port of the B4600.

While this setup works quite reliably the efficiency transferring power from battery to battery is only around 81%. For the AC grid charging there are additional losses.

I am a bit surprised by the low efficiency and would appreciate suggestions to optimize the system 🤔

Is it not possible to connect the inverter to the xt90 output of the satellite? While the satellite is connected to the SBV?

How do you calculate the efficiency? If you have solar->SBV->DCDC->SATTELITE-> PVHub->INVERTER...then above 80% could be considered a great value.

Actually I was just referring to SBV Anderson output-> DC/DC -> Sattelite = 81%
