ravi Hi guys, looking to charge a different third party solar charging battery power station using the SuperBase V via the Anderson output. Would this cable work https://m.aliexpress.com/item/10000386256175.html and what would the maximum output? Trying simulation fake solar array for this little DIY project.
theseven If the SBV detects overload, the output will shut off and not auto-restart. The load may thus not exceed 30A, not even briefly. Output voltage would be 12V. You'll have to check if that would work for your 3rd party device.
Jenson I think what you are doing is what most others are trying to work out using the Anderson port out to power some kind of inverter using mc4 connections mimicking as DC input... The problem is that you will not get 30A, the unit (DC port) overloads at around 10a for some reasons.
