Switch off UPS function

Hi,
I would like to switch off the charging of my SBV 4600's so that what is plugged in runs off the battery and does not keep charging itsself up. How do I do this please?

The device itself should not be able to do this, perhaps you can use a smart plug only.

Hope this gets fixed by the time the Smart Panel ships. Gonna be hard to use a smart plug once the SBV is hardwired to the grid
