Did you perhaps disable the beeper at some point? That can make it a bit more tricky to get the timing right. Anyway, pressing and holding the button for somewhere between 3-4 seconds should put it into provisioning mode, where it is visible via bluetooth. Holding it too long won't work, you have to get that timing right. Are the bluetooth and wifi icons showing on the display at all?
