SBV 4600 AC keeps going off

Hello fellow SBV 4600 users,

I am currently using my SBV 4600 battery as a UPS for my network hardware. However, I have been encountering an issue with the AC output, where it keeps turning off intermittently. The duration between these occurrences varies – sometimes it happens after 5 minutes, and other times, it takes an hour before the AC output goes off.

I was wondering if anyone else in the community has experienced a similar issue with their SBV 4600 battery. If so, I would greatly appreciate any insights or potential solutions you might have to address this problem.

are you charging the SBV using solar panels or just using mains?

Something interesting, if the ac input is not plugged, the output are not disconnected

Makes me wonder if the SBV has the same overcharging issue that we're observing for solar also on the AC side. Try setting a maximum state of charge limit at 97%.

I did that, also reconnected only one of my ac output instead of 2 and since almost 24h it works. I will try to connect the second one today. What is the overcharging issue you are mentioning?

There are some software bugs in the solar charge controller, which lead to the battery being overcharged, triggering a protection mechanism from the battery management system, which then shuts down the whole device.

Yes, see if there is a three digit error code on the right hand side of the screen, if there is an error code it may protect and turn off the AC output.
