lightningstormz While charging via the 400w Solar panel, the SBV4600 randomly cuts off charging for about a second and then starts again. Is this happening for anyone else?
rex support told me it is normal if it is once every 20 minutes or more. it is one pf the way it tries to obtain max power...or so they
fega Same for me. It does not do it only every 20 mins but once once every 20 secs when solar input is low. Currently I unplug solar during the night.
rex normal and not normal depends on how zendure inplemented the mppt solar charging , who am I to judge 🙂
Solarpower I can see this behavior in the late afternoon, if the solar generation is very low. The inverter then turns off and on for a while until the generation is finally to low to start charging again. This at least seems normal to me.
support It is normal, the charging logic with PV panels is such that this will happen in about 20 minutes.
scot@gmx.at Yes at 50 it starts and continues more and more as the sun goes down....at 10watts it is clicking every second on and off. This sounds like a relay and will die after so many 10,000x switches. There should be a cut off, low wattage setting.
