Anderson output 12V/30A

I only can connect a load up to 100W. Above that SBV4600 DC shut off. Anybody else with a similar experience?

Same here i have to Push it 5 time that it works, i think the ampere pikes are to high.

probably right, i do mot think the inverter would use 20A continuosly, but rather 10-30 and it trips. ask zendurr support and let us knoe what they

I have the same profile. There is a soyosource inverter connected for battery pickup. I get this turned up to max 120-130 watts. Then nothing more is fed and it would go a lamp cinema. I was of the opinion, with the inverter what is wrong. The output of up to 360 watts via Anderson Ware one of the reasons for purchase for me. I get along with the Ø 120 watts, but to be able to set something more, if much yield or decrease is present, would be nice.

Inverters typically draw about 2.2 times their AC output power during thr peak of the sine wave. With those peaks occurring at 100/120Hz they are slow enough for capacitors not absorbing that load variation and the SBV's overload protection is apparently fast enough to kick in on those short overload pulses. Therefore issues are to be expected above about 150W of AC output power generated from that DC output.

I have the same problem. What I'm wondering, it works perfectly fine with the car plug an is able to pull the full 10A over there. If the Inverter really pulls to much current on the peak of the sine wave, how could this work on 10A at the car power outlet. In this case there should be a pick of 20A over there and the superbase will cut the power the same? But it is stable running 24h nonstop without a single surge or interruption.

My guess would be that both share the same 12V DC-DC converter, which can handle 30A. That can handle a 30A surge from the car plug, but not a 70A surge from the Anderson plug. That's just speculation though, I haven't used the DC outputs myself so far.

Or perhaps not, supposedly they are on different converters. One may be more tolerant to momentary overload than the other though.

I have kind of the same behavior. Connected a DC/DC Boost converter and solar grid inverter over the Anderson port. DC output shuts off 2-3 times before the discharge / inverter starts. Only pulling 130W.
