Until recently my Zendure system did as expected. Charging batteries using solar energy, when that input energy exceeded the home usage.
Now, for some unknown reason, it seems to prioritize charging the batteries above everything else. Right now, with 2.4kw from solar and 3.8kw home usage, the batteries are receiving 1.8kw while the grid supplies 3.2kw. In addition, until last night, my day charged batteries were being depleted, as expected and desired, by overnight water harvesting. Last night it was all grid supplied.
It looks like some kind of update has completely upset the priority logic.
This is hopeless. Not to mention that despite entering my energy provider account information several times, Zendure keeps losing it and then takes no account of electricity unit price.
This really is good hardware when it works. But if the software makes it as unreliable as this, it will become an unusable very expensive door stop!
