Solarflow 800 Plus self-consumption and temperature

Hi,

I have a question. Is the self-consumption of approximately 30 to 35 watts for a Solarflow 800 Plus during maximum charging (1000 watts charging) normal? When idle, it uses (practically) nothing.

I cannot find anything about this in the manual.

I also find that the top feels quite hot under full load (1000 watts charging).
I can still hold my hand on it, but it feels very hot.

When charging at somewhat lower wattages, it feels 'just warm'.

And how can i change my username on the forum?

Deinen Benutzernamen änderst du rechts unten unter Profil. Dann ganz oben auf deinen Aktuellen Namen Klicken. Danach auf Benutzername und dann kannst du diesen ändern. 😉
30-35 Watt ist der Eigenverbrauch des Geräts. Es kommen aber noch Wandlungsverluste hinzu. Ob man diese jederzeit genau ausrechnen muss, will ich hier gar nicht ausführen. 😅
Ja, das Gerät kann bei diesen Lasten recht heiß werden. 40-50 Grad sind keine Seltenheit. Deshalb lieber nichts darauf lagern und immer für eine gute Luftzirkulation sorgen.
