Good morning,
There are now many reports of molten connectors of the 2400 AC (connection between invertor and first battery unit) (9 individual cases on tweakers.net alone, and some here) We cannot speak of an incident anymore.
I myself have 2 2400ac with each 3 batteries. I am reluctant to let it charge/discharge at the advertised 2400Watt. I am even reluctant to go on vacation while the batteries are on when i cant detect the smell of molten connectors. The unit apparently is unreliable and more importantly unsafe.
I understand that there is an investigation going on but i also expect some public communication from Zendure.
What should 2400ac owners do in the mean ti? Just ignore it and risks a fire? Is there any outcome yet? Specific serial numbers affected? Design flaw of the system itself, or then connector? Firmware issue?
Please recover trust in the brand by being transparant on this matter.
