Hi everyone,
I am experiencing a persistent and annoying issue with the Smart Meter 3CT regarding its MQTT connection, and I wanted to know if anyone else is facing the same behavior.
🛑 The Issue
Whenever there is a network disconnection (Wi-Fi/LAN drop) or a reboot of the MQTT broker/server, the Smart Meter 3CT fails to reconnect automatically.
The Batteries (SolarFlow): Reconnect perfectly fine without any intervention.
The Smart Meter 3CT: Stays offline/disconnected indefinitely from the MQTT broker.
🔄 Current Workarounds
To restore the connection, I have to either:
- Manually power cycle (reboot) the Smart Meter 3CT.
- Go into the settings and re-save the MQTT configuration, which forces the MQTT client to reinitialize.
⚠️ Impact
This is highly problematic because during the disconnection, the dynamic power management (zero-export / matching load) stops working entirely until manual action is taken.
❓ Questions for the Community & Support
Are any other users experiencing this automatic reconnection failure with the Smart Meter 3CT?
@Zendure_Support: Is this a known bug in the current firmware? Can a proper automatic retry/reconnection loop be implemented in a future firmware update so it reconnects on its own?
Thanks for your help and insights!
