I am in the process of installing 3 solar panels in partially different directions on our roof, (which has about a 30 degree angle). I need to find a place to mount battery/hub und inverter, and get the AC into the house. Would it be bad for one or two AB1000s, and the hub/inverter, to be mounted (securely!) underneath a large 500WP modul? The module will be additionally slanted to the side ( upwards towards a large dormer), leaving enough protected room for one or two batteries to be placed on their bottoms or sides, having a 30 or 60 degree angle. The AC cable would enter the house through the dormer wall.
Why am I considering this? Because the other option requires quite a length of cable (8m=25ft) and it would be a difficult task to get these cables under all the roof tiles to the balcony below to the battery/hub/inverter.
The roof is airtight and I do not want to puncture it. There is a bedroom directly under the roof/dormer which would be closer, but that is a bad place to be installing all that electrical equipment and the bedroom's small closet has no air circulation.
So what do you think about slanted batteries underneath a module? Would appreciate your opinions.
