Rephrasing my question.
Strategy 1: 100W house demand continuously for 12 hours. Inverter burns 30W to convert DC to AC. So 1200W only gives 70x12=840W
Strategy 2: Accumulate 1200Wh in battery first. Then convert only when house demands 1200W for 1h. Useful energy therefore 1170W.
Strategy 1 is therefore 28% less efficient than Strategy 2.
Is this correct, or does the intermediate storage cost a similar amount of lost energy?
Can the Hyper be configured to only feed the house when the Smart CT detects a demand of more than 1000W for example to maximise the benefit of solar production?
