In some ways the Zendure app does not make sense.
My configuration: SF2400AC with 2x AB3000X batteries
Mode: dynamic pricing
In the app it does not make sense that when I take power from the grid, and when the battery is delivering power because of the max. Power price setting, the app calculates as power consumption the power from the grid+the power from the battery! The consumption amount then is increasing instead of it is decreasing as should be expected. When consumption from grid is 493 watts, and the battery is discharging to my house when the max electricity price is reached, you should expect the consumption goes down by 225 watts which is delivered by the battery, so the consumption would be 228 watts, but surely NOT 710!
The calculation of the electricity pricing does not work as it should. The pricing is off for €0,02 or more, which makes the electricity pricing very unreliable to use.
It also is a very huge disadvantage that you cannot connect your solar panel system via an API key, so that when the sun is shining you can charge the battery with the solar power that is available at that time.
I have a simple P1 meter to monitor my total electricity usage, and even there I can insert the API key from my SolarEdge solar panel system to monitor the amount of solar power. How come this is not possible in the Zendure app for a SF2400AC?
All in all this makes the app untrustworthy as I cannot rely on it to work as expected, especially when using dynamic pricing. I have been discussing these flaws with the support desk already but never get an answer in what they will do with it, and if they will improve the app on these settings/features. Instead of seemed more important to put time and effort in a image for the electricity flows. 🤔
It would also be nice if there would be a separate group in the forum fire the SF2400AC so it's easier to find other SF2400AC users and the issues they run into.
