I have a dedicated circuit to charge my ev with a granny charger through a normal dc outlet. The charger is rated at 2300 watt. I am wondering if I can use this outlet (and dedicated circuit) to connect the solar flow 2400 ac and safely use it at its maximum charge/discharge rate of 2400 watts. And then connect the car charger to the ac outlet on the solar flow to charge the car. If I would select bypass mode, would this allows me to charge the car using stored (solar) energy and switch to grid energy when the battery is (nearly) empty? Would using the 2400 watt capacity for several hours cause a lot of stress to the battery or would this be alright? I realise the alternative would be to have an electrician create an extra circuit. But if the setup above would work just fine, I would go with that of course.
