I ordered it through Amazon with the solar panels, but that will get setup another day. After unboxing it, I looked for instructions, and found them with the cords. My biggest complaint so far is that the instructions almost require a microscope to read them. What are they thinking. Fortunately I have a 5 power magnifying glass, that made them readable. Ok, anyway, I plugged it into a power strip, and it started charging. It displays the charge watts, and the number started going up slowly, and eventually popped the breaker on the power strip. Ok, I moved it to a direct wall socket. Power charge went up to about 1800 watts, and sort of sat there, and charge time slowly dropped from about 9 hours when it was completely uncharged, down to about 2 hours, which is the actual time it took to charge to 100%. I subsequently plugged in a toaster to see if it would handle the load, and it did without a problem. That was around 600 watts. When I unplugged the SuperBase from the wall, the toaster popped off because of the momentary lapse (20ms I think) in power. I turned it on again and it went through a toast cycle without difficulty. Now for my major test. I move it (on wheels yay) to the refrigerator. On plugging the frig into the SuperBase Pro, it said it would in for about 45 days. Well, of course the compressor wasn’t running, so I encourage it to run by opening the door for a minute. Once the compressor started, it drew about 114 watts from the system, and the time dropped to about 19 hours. Not bad, but it would most likely be longer since the compressor switches off and on to keep the frig cold. My plan is to see how the SuperBase does after 24 hours. I will update this post. Thank you, it worked out of the box. I did have some difficulty getting the system to pair with my phone app, but I was able to get that to work eventually.
