TigerDan Since I received replacement SBV4600 unit, solar charging profile looks weird, always drop 20% around 11:30am, and comes back up around 3:30pm. Any idea, MPPT issue?
rex It looks weird indeed, What panels and how are they connected? Recheck connections, use panels separately if possible to test.
TigerDan SBV connected to 2 550W panels in series. The behavior is the same with or without AC load (use mostly AC). I will measure the SOC and do the exp over the weekend
rex There is no shading or reflections on the panels? If there is, you could check in the past if the peaks/drops were at different times of day as sun angle changes throughout the year. Had similar for shorter time due to a power cable from the power company that is above the panels that was casting some shade...some things to check...
TigerDan Panels were in the same location, no shading and don't see this behavior in the OLD SBV (before this replacement unit). Will try individual panel and measure voltage and current over weekend
