Hello everyone,
First of all, I’d like to say how satisfied I am with the Zendure Hyper system — I really love the product and I’ve been recommending it to people around me. I've even just ordered a second Hyper along with an AB2000S battery, so I’ll soon be running two Hypers and four batteries in total.
I own an electric vehicle, which I mostly charge at night during off-peak (cheaper) hours. I would like to suggest a software improvement to the “Smart” mode: adding the ability to limit output power based on time slots.
The idea:
From 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, I would like the Hyper to be able to output the maximum power (e.g., 1200W).
From 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, I would like to limit the output to 400W, which is the typical base load of my home (excluding the EV charging).
Why this is useful:
It prevents the battery from draining too quickly during the night, when my EV is charging.
It helps keep some capacity available in the morning (before solar production starts).
It may also reduce the heat stress on the Hyper by avoiding high output power for long periods during the night.
Could you please consider implementing this feature in a future firmware update? I’d be more than happy to provide more details or answer any questions.
Thanks a lot for your amazing work!
Best regards,
Johann
