Same here until I decided to do the firmware update to the DC output. Nothing in the notes indicated it would address app control issues. It even fixed turning off sound but the sound turning back on when I turned the light on. Sbp1500

Next update that would be nice is fixing charge time left disparity. On the app it shows about 15 hours left but the screen shows 90 hours. This is charging an iPad at about 15 watts. sbp1500
